For private clients:
(1) Once you have made your initial enquiry and are pleased to go ahead with a definite booking, please send a confirmation email to me with as much information as possible at that point (particularly for ceremonies) This will secure your date and ensure your priority over other requests.
(2) I require a deposit in advance for 50% of the payment and the balance to be sent 28 days before your booked date. Please note, I will not cash any cheques until after the event unless you cancel beforehand. In this case, please see (3) below.
(3) Should you wish to cancel within 28 days of the booked date, I will require to cash your deposit , unless I am able to re-book your date with another client, in which case I will contact you accordingly and offer a full refund. However, the nature of the event business, and particularly weddings, means that clients often book many months in advance and if a supplier is not available initially on the required day, clients will often book straight away with another one.
(4) Somtimes it happens that two bookings arrive for the same date, for example a daytime wedding followed by an evening party. I will advise you if this is the case and work my timings around both bookings to ensure smooth running on the day, but ask for your understanding to leave in good time in order to fulfill the second one.
(5) Please advise at time of booking if you require a receipt for wedding insurance purposes.
(6) Please arrange to send any music, either on CD or on sheet, at least 28 days prior to your booked date.
For restaurants/regular venues:
I am happy to come to individual arrangements over regular bookings and payment accordingly.
For agent bookings:
Please contact the agent directly who will issue a contract on your behalf and forward to me after agreement with all parties.
