I have been playing since the age of three – by ear first and then by age seven with music; at twelve I started to learn the church organ. However I always enjoyed listening to songs and trying them out on the piano and would get challenged to play from the Top 40 every Sunday evening by my friends! By the age of 15 I had reached Grade 8 with Distinction. However, wishing to keep music as a pastime rather than a career I took degrees in other subjects, but kept playing for friends’ weddings and parties. Now I teach piano and keyboard privately to beginners and adults alike. I hope people enjoy listening as much as I enjoy playing!
